Bullies Never Win

Some days, the world shifts. Tonight was one of those moments.

By now, billions have seen the video—Trump, Vance, and Zelenskyy in the Oval Office. By tomorrow morning, the whole world will have seen it. And like many others, I can’t sleep.

Why? Because we just witnessed a bully—loud, brash, and full of bluster—trying to break someone smaller. Except, Zelenskyy isn’t small. He’s stronger than they will ever be.

It was like a schoolyard scene we’ve all lived through—the loud-mouthed kid towering over the quiet one, trying to intimidate. But this time, the stakes weren’t childhood pride. They were life and death.

Three Years Ago, My World Collapsed

Three years ago, Russia invaded Ukraine. It was the final blow to my already fragile mental state. Near burnout, I suddenly had a new, urgent mission—protect my employees in Ukraine.

That mission became my last act before I fell apart. We evacuated families and children who wanted to leave. We supported those who chose to stay and fight. It was the right thing to do. But it ended me. Shortly after, I collapsed.

Burnout broke me. But coming back from it transformed me.

Tonight, My Heart Breaks for Zelenskyy

I watch the video again, and my heart goes out to President Zelenskyy. He was ambushed. Held to ransom.

As he sat in that meeting, Russia was bombing Ukraine—right that very moment—and yet, the conversation was about money. How much the US has given. How much more they are being asked to give.

Trump’s solution? A “deal.” A money grab disguised as diplomacy. Let America take Ukraine’s minerals in exchange for weapons. Buying half a country’s wealth while it fights for survival.

It was sickening.

And yet, Zelenskyy didn’t flinch. He sat there, calm, composed, his mind not on political games but on the people of Ukraine, the families sheltering from missiles, the soldiers on the front lines.

Money Isn’t the Answer—People Are

The most tragic part of tonight is the humiliation Zelenskyy endured. A man forced to sit through public abuse while being told to be grateful for it.

But that’s what bullies do. They belittle, they taunt, they try to break you—and then demand your thanks.

Except Zelenskyy didn’t break.

He has fought Russia for three years. Now, he must fight Trump and Vance. Yet, he still doesn’t back down.

And that is why he is the strongest man in the world tonight.

I stand with Zelenskyy.

I stand with Ukraine.

Because bullies never win
